Real Wedding: Victoria & Max
Hi Guys...It's "Color Palette Thursday"! Today's feature is the beautiful wedding of Victoria & Max. Their wedding has STYLE written all over it...and to capture all of that style is the amazing talents of Susan Bordelon. Susan is awesome...her work is amazing....her site is full of beautiful "eye candy"! So let's get started with Part I...The Wedding Party and Victoria was so sweet to share her and Max's vision of their special day with us....Enjoy!
Our chic and fashionable couple....Victoria & Max!
"Bow Tie Meets The Sand...Max and I wanted our Day to reflect who we are. Two individuals with somewhat different tastes joined together in what only could be our fabulous wedding. It was a mix of Traditional (me) and Casual (Max). Max is a big fan of the ocean side and I had many fond memories of the Jonathan Club growing up. It was the perfect mesh for us. We chose to have both the ceremony and reception at one location to make it easier for everyone involved including our over 200 guests.
We both wanted a short and sweet ceremony with tons of meaning captured in the words with a touch of tradition. We wanted to acknowledge the important people in our lives who had passed away and did so by announcing their names followed by the ring of a bell. A big thing for me was the floral arrangements. I wanted to juxtapose the earthy tones of the beach with colorful florals.
We had flip flops there for the guests as our gift. Another thing I loved were the retro lights that were strung over the dance floor. The best part was definitely the food. I must say the Jonathan Club creates the tastiest delectables for any occasion across the board. Food is a huge part of who Max and I are as a couple and we wanted to bring that to the table. Overall, it was a fabulous wedding and our guests still tell us it was the best wedding they'd ever attended; so much fun, great food and company....our sentiments exactly!"
