Our featured couple....Janet & Roy!

Janet and the girls are all so beautiful...their dresses are Monaco Couture!
Carolyn shares all the wonderful details with us.......
Janet & Roy were married on March 22, 2008. Janet is a designer for AG Jeans and Roy is the CEO of an independent production company. The wedding took place at the Culver Studios sound-stage in Culver City, CA. They had nearly 400 guests - many within the entertainment industry and several Korean celebrities. I designed the wedding with the modern luxury and glamour theme, with a color scheme of black, white and yellow.
The ceremony took place on one side of the sound-stage in which we draped the entire area in white with LED lighting, a crystal chandelier and 2 large manzanita branch arrangements with hanging crystals, white pomanders and hanging candles. I had a custom runner made with the yellow brocade design that was used throughout the printed materials of the wedding invitations, menus, programs, escort cards, etc. ....(these were actually designed by Janet's sister, a graphic designer in New York), along with Janet & Roy's names within the brocade design. After the wedding, I had the brocade design framed and presented it as a gift to the couple.
There were 3 different table designs, each with its own style of floral arrangements...mostly in eye-popping yellow, with beautiful textured black and white linens with true yellow napkins with a phaleonopsis orchid placed on each napkin. The reception area was draped all in black.
The photographer was the amazing and talented Aaron Delesie and the gorgeous florals were designed by Gina Kim-Park of Mille Fiori.
Thanks Carolyn for sharing Janet & Roy's beautiful day with us.....check back later Guys for Part II...the gorgeous reception decor!

This gown is fabulous very modern with a hint of traditional. I love it! The BMs dresses are so precious the soft yellow sets eveything off.
