Real Wedding: Evana & Chinedu

I am so excited about today's featured wedding....it reflects the "Contemporary Wedding Style"......chic...modern...swanky...clean lines!  Evana & Chinedu...they are truly a beautiful couple and their inner beauty and love for their culture and their family and friends is expressed throughout their celebration...I feel as though I have known them for years...Evana is the sweetest...such a beautiful lady!  Their wedding story was captured by the amazingly talented and fabulous Fred Egan.....Fred and I spoke right before he went to shoot their wedding and he told me that I was going to absolutely love it and he was oh-so-right!!  Let's get started with Part I of our 3 Part Feature......trust me...you're going to love it!  Enjoy!

Our featured couple...Chinedu & Evana!

I asked Evana how she and Chinedu met....."We met in 2004 at a "wedding after party" in Maryland.  It was his cousin's wedding...she is friends with my cousin which is how I ended up attending the wedding in the first place.  I was walking by and Chinedu stuck up a conversation with me.  We exchanged numbers...he called a few weeks later.  We hit it off and became good friends, but he wasn't settling for that!  The hot pursuit started and the rest is history"!

I asked Evana to share the story on how she found her gorgeous Pronovias gown..."I had been looking on-line, but hadn't quite found "the dress" yet.  Someone mentioned Pronovias and I decided to go check them out.  Once I clicked on the Manuel Mota Collection and the first gown appeared on the page...I fell in love.  Next step...an appointment at the Pronovias salon in New York...I tried it on and "TA DA"....a bride was born!  Just to be sure, I did try on a few other gowns, but none of them brought the glow to my face like my dress did!  It was perfect...simple....vintage inspired...romantic and beautiful!

Real Wedding: Tara & Kirk

One of my favorite features at TBC are the beautiful "Real Weddings".  I love sharing with you all the different styles that our beautiful brides envision for their special day.  I often wonder..."What is the Wedding Style of the fabulous TBC readers".  So I thought it would be fun to find out...over the next 2 weeks, the featured weddings will have a different style......let me know which "Wedding Style" describes your special day or simply which style is your favorite.  At the end of the series, I will introduce TBC's next contest and guys it's a"GOOD" one.....so let's find your "Wedding Style"!!!

Our "Wedding Style" today is "Garden Style".....Enchanting...Airy....Fresh!  Tara & Kirk are our featured couple and my wonderful friend Eleise of Eleise Theuer Photography captured their beautiful wedding story.  I love Eleise...her work is always so "crisp" and "magazine worthy" and she is just the sweetest person.....first up are the pics of the wedding party...come back later to check out the "Garden Style" reception....Enjoy!!

"In Living Color...Bouquet Style"

Happy Monday Guys...today I thought I would surprise you all with a couple of bouquets designed by.......ME!!  Yes, it has been too long since I have featured a "JMFlora Original" and I do apologize...soooo....I am sharing a couple of bouquets from my client's beautiful May wedding....photographed by Jeff Greenough.....I do hope they will put a smile on your face and I promise to share more of my designs at the cafe...it's wedding season so I'll have lots to show...Enjoy!!!

This richly textured Brides Bouquet is bursting with color.....I used Garden Roses, Billy Ball, Fern Curls, Green Cymbidium Orchids, Red Gloriosa Lily and Orange Pin Cushions...Wrapped in Double Face Satin Orange Ribbon!  I just love the "delicious" colors!

 

And to compliment the Brides Bouquet....The Bridesmaid Bouquet is also bursting with the same color-palettes....Beautiful Milva Roses, Red Gloriosa Lily, Orange Pin Cushions and Green Hypericum Berries....Wrapped in Double Face Satin Apple Green Ribbon!
