The Flour Pot

Guys have you heard of The Flour Pot....well if you haven't you are in for a wonderful treat!  The Flour Pot is a lovely cookie decorating company run by the awesome mother-daughter team, Margie & Abbey Greenberg!  They are based in  Pennsylvania and lucky for us...they ship nationwide.  Their client list includes Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue, Jimmy Choo (and soon, The Bride's Cafe) and they have appeared on The Food Network and Entertainment Tonight.  Abbey tells me that the highlight at The Flour Pot to date was publishing their first book...."It's always so crazy to walk into Barnes and Noble and see your name on the shelf"!

Abbey states that the most popular design that is used for cookie favors for weddings and bridal showers are The Engaged Cookies.  "When it comes to popular wedding cookies, we do such a wide range of designs.  We are so custom that the sky is the limit.  Of course, we do traditional bridal themed cookies like cakes, monograms, etc...but we have done basketball shaped cookies for the couple that met at a basketball game and dog shaped cookies for the couple that met at a dog park and the LOVE statue shaped cookies are always popular for Philadelphia brides".

"I Need a Favor"

I Need a Favor from Kate ........a Seattle based company, launched in January 2007 by Kate Brynn Murray.  Kate specializes in custom favor boxes and bags for weddings, showers and parties.  Although many of the favor shapes can be found elsewhere on the Internet, the variety of patterned paper available through I Need a Favor from Kate, makes their favor boxes unique and different from the solid-color favor boxes available elsewhere.  The favor boxes are so easy to order....you simply select the paper that matches the event colors and decide on a favor box design and choose the quantity needed.  Your favors will arrive within 2-3 weeks of the order date.  All favor boxes are shipped flat and require minimal assembly.  You can always contact Kate directly for custom assembly.  Please do yourself a favor and visit Kate's beautiful site to see the gallery of favors!
