Happy Monday Guys...I hope you all had a wonderful weekend....I want to introduce you to Laura & Kevin. They had a beautiful destination wedding...the ceremony and reception took place at The Saltaire in Duck, NC. Their wedding story was sent to me by the incredibly talented photographer and oh-so-nice...Mary Basnight. This is Mary's first visit at TBC and I sure hope it's not her last.....Mary's work is simply beautiful and I'm so glad she stopped by today....up first is Part I of our 2 Part feature......Enjoy!
Our featured couple...Laura & Kevin!
Laura's dress is SO beautiful...Love the black and white image Mary!
Such a gorgeous bouquet....pretty in pink....all the beautiful florals by Renee Landry of Blooms Design Studio.
What a pretty shade of blue...love the dresses!
Kevin gave the groomsmen pocketknives with their initials on them and he also gave them a USB port...Mary shared with me that she will be using USB ports to add a slide-show of the couple on them for her clients....great idea!
Truly a beautiful wedding and to help orchestrate Laura & Kevin's beautiful day....they hired Cara Zuehlke of A Southern Soiree....great job Cara!
Thanks Mary for stopping by the cafe today...check back later guys for Part II...charming details from the reception.
If I were them I'd get that last one, the one of them walking on the beach towards the shoes on a pier as a 20x30 canvas for my office!

Mary Basnight shot my wedding in Kitty Hawk, NC in 2007. Every aspect of working with her was perfect. The photos are gorgeous and working with her was a joy. She even worked through a major migraine and never dropped her smile. I recommend her to every bride!

Great images! The last shot is very cute with the shoes at the top of the stairs.
