I'm so excited about our featured wedding today....it's the "Vintage Inspired" wedding of Megan & Randy. You are going to LOVE it and Megan is the cutest bride.....looking through all the images I felt as though I was actually looking at a wedding that took place back in the 5o's...it's so full of style and grace! I am also excited to introduce you to the incredibly talented photographer, Alisha Hurt.......Alisha captured their wedding story and it's so sweet of her to share it with us today. Up first is Part 1 of our 2 Part feature and you don't want to miss Part 2...I have a wonderful surprise for you so make sure you come back to check it out...Enjoy!
Meet Megan & Randy.....what a beautiful couple and I am loving Megan's gown!
Megan shares her wedding vision with us..."I'm a vintage girl. This wedding was one of the most fun events we've ever had. All was a 50's glamorous inspiration theme done in black and cream. My dress was inspired by a dress Audrey Hepburn wore in the movie Sabrina. It was couture made by Rebecca Ballard of Forever Rebecca, and the bridesmaid dresses were also handmade. All the table arrangements were collections of vintage purses..shoes...ties...etc., along with the floral arrangements designed by Garden Style of Tyler, TX. This was a dream come true wedding for both Randy and I and we feel as though we accomplished our goal....for everyone to have fun! It was a pleasure planning our wedding...along with the help we had from many close friends. We hope the TBC readers enjoy it as much as we did."
Check out Megan...she is SO Ms. Glamorous!
The total vintage look...even the furniture is retro..how cool is this!
Megan is on her way to see Randy for the first time!
Megan and the girls...check out the dresses...the shoes...the purses..the gloves...and the hair...totally vintage...how fun! Instead of bouquets for the girls, they each have a beautiful pink peony attached to their purse...great detail!
Randy and the guys looking so cool!
And check out Megan's mother's dress....gorgeous!
Megan gets her beauty from her mom......such a sweet photo of them!
Making a cool getaway.....and check out Megan's "getaway outfit"......Alisha, thank you SO much for sharing Megan & Randy's "Vintage Style" wedding with us today...the images are AMAZING and their wedding was simply "picture perfect" AND thanks to Megan & Randy...you guys did a wonderful job with the planning....all the details are fabulous....what a fun wedding..TBC wishes you both a lifetime of happiness and joy! Check back later guys...you don't want to miss Part 2!

Stunning!!
Can you tell us where the adorable mom got her dress? That looks very much like the style my own mom is shopping for, so we'd love any tips. Thanks!

(I think her mom made the dress.)

This wedding was so much fun...I am Megs' mom, and can truly say, this was the happiest day of her life! The Orange 69 Nova has a very special place in our hearts as well...Meg and her Dad restored this car together during her high school years. It belongs to Meg. The driver is her brother Drew. Thankyou for making our memories of the wedding even MORE special!

I saw non pro photos of this wedding a while back - and I love it even more now! We're planning a 1950's inspired wedding as well, but unfortunately, couldn't convince our mothers to dress the part. No biggies! I'll just drool over this one some more!

Wow, Meagan! Fantastic!!! You are stunning--your wedding looked amazing. That CANNOT be your father w/ your mother (brother maybe?). Your ma DOES look like your sister! We're going vintage, too--love the "poofy" veil (I'm doing a birdcage--Thanks to Weddingbee & Castle Bride Couture!) Where did you get that GORGEOUS GARTER--I can only find cheesy lace ones-boo!

this is so very frustrating still!! I posted comments on this site a LONG time ago saying that I was looking for someone to make dress like this, or pattern, and still to this day I have not been able to have my gown made.... I ahve been ssooo stressed out about this that it is not even funny and my fiance says that I am in tears pretty much everyday as I do research on this gown and the audrey hepburn sabrina gown. Is there Know one out there that has compassion and can help by making saggestions or ideas. Again.... (to any dressmakers out there)> I am disabled and on disability and ssi because of SAVERE lupas so I can not afford to travel or pay ALOTE of money up front. Payment plan would be the best for me. Would love it if someone would be willing to make the PATTERN to the dress(with instruction) and mail it to me for a price, not a huge price though! Is there anyone who can help me??
